What are Filters?

DrawFest allows artists to set content warnings and content permissions on their characters and attacks. Images with content warnings are blurred and require a tap to reveal. Always respect a character owner's preferences.

Content Rating System

Clean / SFW

Family-friendly content. No violence, gore, or suggestive themes.

Mild Violence

Action/fantasy violence. No graphic gore.

Gore / Body Horror

Graphic wounds, blood, horror themes. Must be filtered.

Suggestive

Suggestive poses or themes. Nothing explicit.

Eye Strain

Bright colors, flashing, or high-contrast patterns that may cause eye strain or discomfort.

Important Notes

Always read a character's page before attacking — permissions are listed there.
If a character says "clean only," do not draw it with gore or suggestive content.
When in doubt, contact the character owner directly.
Content warnings must be added to attacks that contain sensitive content.
