About DrawFest
The annual art gifting game
What is DrawFest?
DrawFest is an annual art trading event where the team who gets the most points against the other team wins. Every person you attack counts towards your team. Friendly fire is 75% of an attack. The attacks must be no less than a flat colored headshot and no more than remembering to take a small water break every now and again. You are free to draw anything you want as long as it's SFW and not against the person you're attacking permissions. The event starts December 1st and ends February 1st giving artists 2 months - enough time to give everyone some time to rest every now and again and to make sure everyone at least gets attacked once.
Your team receives points based on what you create. The artist that receives the attack can then counter it by drawing the character belonging to the person who attacked them — or pay it forward by attacking a different person on the other team. If you're on the same team as another user, you can still attack them! This is commonly referred to as Friendly Fire.
At the end of the month, the team with the most points wins. Remember, DrawFest is more about gifting than competition, You are encouraged to use your creativity and to have fun drawing others! DrawFest's goal is to celebrate characters and encourage giving back to fellow creators, creating a positive environment where artists of all skill levels can participate and make art for one another!
