Hauntshaw the title he goes under is a play on the word Hawkshaw, which was at one point a more common slang for detective who doesn't work on a police force
And well he's a ghost, he died back in the 1900s and works as a detective in a superpowered world, he doesn't really have powers himself he's just a really smart ghost able to do all the normal ghost things. He's French but he is able to speak english, most of his story takes place in 2008, where he's relatively confused on a bunch of new tech but still able to keep up with detective cases... not so good when it comes to interacting with people who are around his age mentally.
Personality
Fig is a relatively causal and chill fellow, who get obsessed with his cases and is willing to hop and dance about the battle field and his work much like a ferret. Actually just think of him a lot like a chiller ferret.
